Recently the ACA Research Healthcare team conducted research for Medibank to understand the prevalence and impact of loneliness on Australians, particularly those who may need hospital care over the festive season.

Medibank have launched Joy, a new Virtual Reality (VR) experience to help reduce and combat loneliness particularly amongst those who need an extended stay in hospital.

It is a fantastic product and we’d like to say thanks to Medibank for allowing us to contribute to research to help support initiatives like Joy.
